At MauiNed.com,
we
are committed to offering buyers the best quality merchandise
at reasonable prices.
We specialize in Handmade
& Handpainted Treaure Boxes
and Handmade
& Handpainted Ceramic Tiles. Each piece is
an original work of art, handcrafted one piece at a time by
very talented artists.
While all of the boxes are
hand painted, the carved work shown on some pieces represents
the ancient Chinese art form called Coromandel. It is the
carving of clay over wood, hand painted with an oil base paint
and using nine layers of lacquer as finish. It is this finish
which protects the art work and gives our product its very
shiny look. The beauty of our art pieces is only complimented
by the ability to be more than just pretty faces. Our products
easily blend beauty with practicality, making them the perfect
gift giving idea for any occasion. Embossed pieces, which
feel raised, are produced by layering clay, gypsum powder
and painted over and over again until the correct height of
the embossing work is achieved. Whether you use our handcrafted
art treasure boxes for storing the TV programs, remote controls,
mail, magazines, recipes, jewelry, CD's, photos, or your most
treasured memories, they are just as beautiful and unique
standing alone. Owning a hand crafted product from MauiNed.com
represents the beauty of endless possibilities.
Each Tile is carefully made
by the artist, kiln fired at 2000 degrees. They can be used
at trivets/hot plates, wall hangings, wall inlaid tiles, or
table decorations. The rich, vibrant color will not fade due
to indoor or outdoor usage.
All products are very well
packed before shipping. The treasure boxes and tiles come
in individual styrofoam boxes.
Our business began over seven
years ago and is based on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii.
Satisfaction is one of our goals and we guarantee
it on all of our merchandise. Please feel free to
